PressTV – PVC flooring chemicals taken up by children's bodies.

It is not enough to limit babies’ consumption of food using plastic containers, zippy cups and plates. It appears that there are other important sources of phthalates, such as PVC flooring. As always, plant-based flooring – such as bamboo or untreated wood – is probably best. Unfortunately, these are often costly or unavailable to most people. Environmental justice should extend to goods and services, not just transportation systems and toxic spills.
